 Preschool 

Our preschool program is focused on the total development of each child – cognitive, social, emotional and physical. The program is designed to encourage thinking both in and out of the classroom. Our teachers specialize in nurturing the young minds of children to aspire to all they are capable of.

Preschool Student Sandbox

 

Preschool is a time for your child to investigate, explore, discover and grow.  In preparation for future learning, we encourage children to think creatively and to make independent decisions. Our program fosters this through a variety of play-based, teacher-guided educational experiences. A typical day for a preschool student at Huron Academy starts with a morning message and includes large group work, small group work, planning time, individual work time, clean-up, outside play and snack/meal times.Our preschool program is offered Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.–3 p.m. and follows the Huron Academy school calendar, with a few minor exceptions. Our state certified teachers use the state approved HighScope curriculum that focuses on eight content areas:

Registration and Enrollment

The 2024-25 preschool year begins on September 3, 2024.

The total cost of preschool is based on the payment option you select.

9 payments – $650/month (Due the first of each month Sept-May)

2 payments – $2,650/each (Due Sept. 1 and Feb. 1)

1 payment – $5,000 (Due Sept. 1)
